Our Youth Leaders
Our fabulous youth leaders who make up our team are committed to loving God and loving teenagers. These folks are prayed in, invited, interviewed, screened, trained, held accountable, & rewarded! Our Youth Leaders are part of our hands-on-team. We also have folks who serve behind the scenes! They serve primarily as Student Connect Group leaders, Wed. Night Worship Service leaders, Area Bible Study hosts/leaders, TNT coaches/coordinators, and leaders of other unique ministries! They also serve as chaperones on trips and support Pastor Jeremey in lots of other ways!
Our Ministry is made up from students all over the TN Valley. Most of our students are in the Madison County, Huntsville City, and Madison City school systems. We currently have students in 21 different schools not to mention the home schoolers! To enter our youth ministry you have to have graduated the sixth grade. We kick you out when you graduate from High School or the summer right after your 18th birthday if you finish school early or are working on your GED. Our youth ministry is very diverse and we like it that way!
We believe it is our duty to support parents and be on their team. We believe the studies that say that neither peers, teachers, youth leaders, or pastors have the largest influence on their teenager's faith BUT that a teenager's parents do! So we pray for our parents and try to make our youth ministry family friendly by taking breaks from services and activities occasionally and programming events where parents are present! Some of our youth leaders on our youth staff are parents too!
